Our family
Four generations of business, a single love for Lake Como
Almost a century of intuition, work, and a deep connection with the Lake Como region. Let's retrace the key milestones of our family history: a journey that starts with silk production in Como and passes through nautical excellence, ultimately arriving at hospitality and dining.

Our family story roots itself in 1947, when our grandfather founded a company in Como specializing in silk production, joining one of the most prestigious manufacturing traditions in the world.
A passion for work, attention to quality, and focus on new technologies allowed the business to grow rapidly and become an integral part of the Lake Como industrial fabric.
In the following years, our father embraced this legacy, transforming and expanding the business. Building on the expertise gained in the textile sector, he directed production toward the boating world with innovative textile accessories for pleasure craft.
From this evolution, Tessilmare was born—a brand that has become an international benchmark. The company is now preparing to celebrate a historic milestone: 80 years in business.

The third generation, led by Ranieri and Margherita, guides the family enterprise by blending heritage and future. In 2019, the decision was made to invest in their home region by embarking on a path dedicated to high-end tourism in the village of Vassena.
From this vision, an integrated hospitality project came to life: guided boat tours, holiday homes, a boutique hotel, and the restaurant with a lounge bar directly overlooking the waters of Lake Como.
The holding company's journey looks to tomorrow thanks to the entry of the fourth generation. Valerio and Emma bring new energy and perspectives to safeguard the founding values of the business: entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and respect for local identity.
A business story that, from textiles to boating, and all the way to hospitality, continues to evolve while keeping its link with its roots intact.
